Hello Everybody,
I'm Tony Z. & this is my website. Tony Zzz Karaoke is a small group of
people dedicated to helping people sing.
These are the folks that help me sing. As we get busier we will be adding
to this very short list
Here you see Karen & me at the Key
West Harbor. Karen is my partner and
works in the office with me. It was her
idea for this website.
After the music stops:
People think once the lights go down on the karaoke stage it's all Mai Tais and Yahtzee.  (but no?) Living and
working in Key West is all that and more. It may be "Five o'clock somewhere" else, but where we are it's always
Friday night on a long weekend, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Before Tony Zzz Key West Karaoke at Two Friends:
That's me and my brother playing at the Tavern At The Bridge many moons ago. We were called "The Drunken
Sailors" on stage. We were called a lot worse before, during and after we got off stage. I'm on the left, Mikey East is
on the left handed guitar.

While I was on vacation you probably saw our new hosts on the web cam. We had Brian C. a few nights and Carl &
Saundra the others. Now that I'm back, if all goes according to plan, I'll be hosting 6 nights until September.
This guy almost worked this week. He's got a
haircut and a real job so it's tough to get him to get
rich quick off karaoke. Next time I'm pronounced
dead or have jury duty J will be there for me no
doubt.

KEZ AKA Karen
KEZ runs the office. There are a billion little things, (and I under-estimate), to do before
the show. The behind the scenes things no one thinks of. From inventory to making sure
the seams are straight, everything gets done on time thanks to KEZ. I can make karaoke
look fun, because I've got people like KEZ helping me, I'm not worried. If something
goes wrong I can blame people like KEZ. Thank you and you have my sympathy
because you also have my old job. Now that I am a big star I remember you, love you,
mean it and no, you can not have a raise or the money to go with it.

Stray rabbits need your help! We
found this little beauty walking down
the street in Stock Island, Florida Keys
Since then, we've rescued three
others, two right after Easter. Rabbits
make great house pets, but they take
a lot of planning and you have to
"Bunny Proof" you're home. Read all

Kibbee was wandering the neighborhood one evening and decided to visit
our home office. We've been enjoying her company for over a year and we
couldn't ask for a better companion. She enjoys chasing Martha Kitty,
fresh herbs and lots of cabbage.
Soon Kibbee will have her own page.

I've worked karaoke full time since 1995.

"Long story short"
I started for Russ McQueen Karaoke as a sound technician and roadie. There came a time when
I was working 7 nights a week with the same person. We decided to buy a karaoke system and
start our own karaoke business. One show a week at the Tavern soon turned into another over
at the mall and before you know it we were doing over 20 shows a week with 5 systems and a
dozen people working.

we sold everything and moved to Key West.
We were fighting,
she went to sleep on Marylou's couch.
She came back a month later
with her boyfriend.*

I moved out with 50 dollars, a ten year old amp and karaoke player. Since then, I've done over a
thousand shows on my own and I LOVE IT.

Before I was a karaoke host.
For five years I was a trainer and service technician for Huffy Service First. I did home
improvements for 3 years. I was a carpenter building sheds and doghouses for five years. I may
still hold the record of 38 doghouses in less than 8 hours. I was (and still am) a furniture builder.
The only job I ever sucked at, try as I might, was wrapping wire around some little thing trying to
make a transformer. I'd probably still be trying to make my quota after 25 years. I was halfway
there when I quit and got fired at the same time. I almost forgot; I was a forklift driver for a
summer. I loved that job, but like so many jobs, "The boss was a fill in the blank_____"

Q - What is Zzz?
Some people think it's because I never sleep, or  because I only sleep at work.
Others because I sleep 14 hours a day.
A - The Zzz are pronounced z's, as in Tony Z's Karaoke. It's because I couldn't
think of a cool name like "Southernmost This" or "Island That".

Q - What do you do all day?
A - I watch TV, smoke cigarettes and drink beer for 8 hours a day. The rest of my
time I just waste.

Q - How long have you been doing this?
A - I've been "The Karaoke Guy" for over 10 years.  I've been at Two Friends
since December 2000.

HE'S NOT DEAD YET Tony Zzz Karaoke is moving!
It's official. August 1 is the day we roll out of Key West, Florida.
We'll be starting up in the Merrimack Valley of New England.
Our new center of operations will be about 30 miles north of Boston.
All our prices & services will remain the same.
As for you internet fans of yours truly, Tony Z,  we have no web cam yet. That should be happening within a month
or two. The camera belongs to Two Friends whose link is below. The show will go on with a new selection of music,
Brian will still be hosting a show and you should see many new faces in the future. Thank you to all my fans who
have been watching these last 20 months. Thank you to everyone who have visited the Key West show over the
last 6 years. Thanks to you Nightstar Entertainment fans who knew me way back when.
